When you land 1 to 3 glowing orbs on the first reel, that reel will expand. As the animated character appears on the first reel, reels 2 to 5 will expand with 1 to 3 extra rows. You will then find glowing cash symbols on these active reels.
All cash symbols that land on reels 2 to 5 will be collected, and immediately awarded. The cash symbols can be worth between 1x and 200x your wager. Sometimes you will trigger the feature if you land a cash orb on reel 2 with no other win.
