The Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde slot genre contains some interesting installments already, but this game is certainly a welcome addition. It can be seen as a less volatile sibling to the original, but keep in mind that the 6,350x potential has been reduced significantly as well.
The theme is loosely based on the ‘Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde’, which is the full title of the original Robert Louis Stevenson classic. The premium symbols pay between 1 and 5 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and you also have a Dr Jekyll and a Mr Hyde Wild symbol that steps in for pay symbols to help complete wins. This triggers the feature, and the Mr Hyde wild gets a multiplier increase of +1 per nudge. You get 12 free spins, and the Mr Hyde wild multiplier increases by +1 per without ever resetting. Any new Mr Hyde wilds always start at the current multiplier level, and all wins trigger the feature.

There’s no denying that this game follows closely in the footsteps of the previous game, and even the manically smiling Jekyll and Hyde characters look very similar to the joker in the predecessor. The feature isn’t too shabby actually, but it might take some installments for it to truly stick.
The potion collection system is brand new in this release, and we like that the symbols can also deliver regular line wins. Usually, the collection system blocks regular line wins instead, and everything is enhanced when the Hyde multiplier never resets in the bonus round. The 6,350x potential has been sliced significantly, but this is a more casual medium volatile installment.
