We have traveled all over the world (although mostly to Egypt and South America) with an Indiana Jones wannabe, and the time has finally come to meet his sister. Not surprisingly, she’s a brave explorer type as well, and she’s looking for whatever her older brother didn’t already find in the Mesoamerican jungle. Jane Hunter and The Mask of Montezuma is not an overwhelming explorer debut for Jane, but solid stuff nonetheless.

You get the typical Aztec visual presentation, with pyramid temples both on the backdrop and on the reels. The Wild symbol depicts the mask in question, we presume, and it pays pretty well in this game. You can win smaller cash prizes in the Pick Game, and also trigger the bonus round. The latter comes with a cash collect system with upgradable cash symbol prizes, and the overall 5,000x potential is pretty decent as well.

Jane Hunter and The Mask of Montezuma is a pretty typical release in most regards, and it’s hardly overwhelming in any way. It comes with their typical visual experience, and the features are decent without being super engaging.

Being able to win up to 200x (or 500x for wilds) your stake for 5 of a kind wins is not bad, and full screen wins would 10x those numbers. The pick game prizes are not too impressive, so you’ll probably cross your fingers for the bonus round in that feature. The money collect system that’s added to the premium symbols can be seen as a bonus, although upgrading the prizes didn’t seem all that easy. Anyway, you can win up to 5,000x on a good day, but this was not the most memorable debut for this brand new female adventurer.
