Set in the African savannah at dusk, Jambo Cash comes with a beautiful nature backdrop bathing in sunset colors. The retro visual style of the wooden reel-set and the symbols doesn’t quite fit the bill in our opinion, but it gets the job done. The base game awards some decent multiplier wild payouts here and there, and the 12,056x max win can be cracked at any time.
You will also see a lot of white drum cash symbols, and although these usually come with values below x1, they can award as much as x500. There is no collector symbol however, so you’ll need to line these beauties up to get paid. The Bonus Round comes with more of the same basically, or at least potentially a lot more cash symbols, depending on your choice.
Jambo Cash Slot Features
The Totem Wild steps in for all regular pay symbols, and it will also reveal a multiplier between x1 and x5 whenever it lands. If more than one multiplier wild is involved in a win, the respective multiplier values are added together before they boost the total payout. The wild symbols can land on reels 2 to 6 only, and combine into x243 at the most.
Another symbol you’ll see a lot of in this game is the white drum Cash Symbol. It comes with smaller cash values attached in the base game, at least most of the time, and you need to land 3+ on a payline to win the summed up cash values on display. The cash values are also affected by multiplier wilds, just like regular wins.
You need to land 3 Shield bonus scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 to trigger the Bonus Round. You are then presented with 3 straight-up choices and 1 mystery choice. These are as follows:
- 15 free spins with 1 low-value royal symbol converted to a Cash Symbol.
- 10 free spins with 2 low-value royal symbols converted to Cash Symbols.
- 5 free spins with 3 low-value royal symbols converted to Cash Symbols.
- Mystery Choice - A random number of spins with a random number of royals (up to all 4) converted to Cash Symbols.
You can retrigger the feature to get more low-paying royals converted to cash symbols, and when all symbols are converted you can get a final retrigger for extra spins. The cash symbols can award up to x500, but most of them land with values between x0.1 and x2 also in the bonus round. We saw a x10 cash symbol only once during our test session (see below).

Review Summary
Jambo Cash is a visually mediocre African/tribal themed release, although the animated jungle/savannah back- and foreground is kind of neatly done.
The Cash Symbols land with uninspiring values on pretty much every spin, and it’s rare to win even a measly amount from them in the base game. Multiplier wilds can do a bit more damage at times, but getting a dozen more low-value cash symbols in the bonus round isn’t really the most exciting prospect. They still need to line up to win anyway, and we would have preferred a standard Hold & Win feature instead.
