To be honest, we enjoyed some of the earlier games in the Gigablox range, especially those created by the original developers. Since then, the series has been expanded by other studios, with mixed results. Hunters Moon Gigablox is one studio’s first effort with the dynamic reels engine, resulting in a somewhat dark, fantasy-themed game with a (for this series) average 5,000x potential.
A blonde huntress remains static on the left, sliding in on the top bonus reel to transform random symbols below into wilds. Gigablox up to 5x5 will land on any spin, counting as 1x1 tiles of matching symbols. We don’t know what she's hunting, but you’ll be hunting larger wins in the bonus round, which has more frequent wild transformations.
Hunters Moon Gigablox Features
The blonde huntress is the wild symbol, substituting for all regular pay symbols. The wild is worth the same as the top-tier Bear symbol, with 6-oak awarding 8x your stake.
On top of the 6x6 grid is a bonus reel that runs from right to left, and it slides in wilds and/or bonus symbols. These special symbols cannot land on the regular reels, and the bonus reel slides one position from right to left at the start of each spin.
If the bonus reel slides in a wild or a bonus symbol, they transform regular symbols directly beneath into the same. Often, the bonus reel awards nothing but blank symbols, and only the 4 middle reels are affected.
You need at least 5 bonus symbols on the main reels to trigger the Bonus Round, with 1 free spin per triggering bonus symbol. Gigablox symbols count as 1x1 individual symbols, so a 3x3 block of bonus symbols counts as 9 bonus symbols.
During the feature, you get +1 extra spin per bonus symbol converted on the regular reels. Expect a higher frequency of wilds on the bonus reel during the bonus round. Players can purchase the bonus round for 100x the total stake, awarding 5 to 36 free spins randomly.

Review Summary
If you’re new to the Gigablox concept, Hunters Moon is not the best introduction. The dark color scheme and obscure theme make it less accessible than previous games, and the 5,000x potential is average.
It’s still fun when massive blocks are about to drop, and occasional wild wins will keep you afloat in the volatile environment. Expect more wilds when the bonus round triggers, making it tense and unpredictable. Overall, this doesn’t feel like a step forward for the Gigablox range, but more like an okay filler.
