For some reason, perhaps, the creators have decided to launch a new version of a recent title. We are in the middle of the summer holiday season, so a game like this may appeal to those who’re stuck at home. Either way, Holiday Ride is exactly the same game.

You’re once again taken on a Vespa ride through Rome, although you're stuck in the same place most of the time. The Vespa ride happens when the bonus round triggers, and it comes with additive multiplier wilds that roam around per spin after they land. You get multiplier wilds up to x5 also in the base game, and the max win is still 5,000x your stake. Holiday Ride is decently charming, but we doubt this new release will make a major splash either.

The Ante Bet feature can be turned on between any base game spin, and you will pay 40 % extra per spin if you decide to keep it on. This doubles your bonus round chances though, so it’s definitely something to consider. The top-tier symbols pay between 4 and 30 x your stake for 5 on a payline, and the Vespa Wild symbol substitutes for pay symbols to help complete and/or improve line wins.

The above-mentioned Vespa Wild has a few more tricks up its sleeve, as we shall see below, and it can land on all 5 reels. Each crate explodes one after another, and this gives you between 1 to 3 free spins added to your total per crate. In practice, this means that you will get between 9 and 27 free spins per bonus round trigger. All wilds become persistent roaming wilds in the bonus round, and they come with multiplier values up to x5.

A previous game had its wide release only a few months ago after all, and perhaps the company jumped the gun in that regard. Holiday Ride is the exact same game, but the title has been changed to make it abundantly clear what this game is about.

It’s a holiday ride through Italy on a Vespa, with the Colosseum seen on the left-hand side. It would’ve been more fun if you could visit different famous locations this time, but sadly no such upgrades have been made. You get the tried and tested multiplier wilds in the base game, and they become persistently roaming multiplier wilds in the bonus round. Simple as that. You can still win up to 5,000x your stake, and it will be interesting to see if the timing of this release makes a difference when it comes to the reception.
