Sometimes these games can balance on a razor’s edge of charm and nuisance. The animal noise is not overwhelming in this game, luckily, but there is a pause after each expanding wild that got on our nerves after a while. This is not least the case since the pause is there even if you don’t win anything. The self-satisfied look on the character’s face doesn’t help in that regard either.

Anyway, this game comes with a decent set of features, and many players might not even notice what we nitpicked about above. The expanding wild collects egg scatter cash prizes in all stages of the game, and the total win will be boosted by the increasing win multiplier in the bonus round. That’s this slot in a nutshell for you, and you can win up to a pretty solid 10,000x your stake from the feature. Fans of the genre will probably enjoy this, but we couldn’t quite make up our minds about it one way or the other.

Game Features

The premium symbols pay between 10 and 50 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and you can turn on/off the Super Stake ante bet feature between base game spins. Keeping the Super Stake on doubles your regular stake, and the benefit is that it increases your bonus round chances by an unspecified amount. The Super Stake also doubles the value of egg scatter cash symbols.

The Egg Scatter symbols come with random cash prizes attached, and you need the Wild symbol in view to collect all the egg scatter prizes. The Wild expands to cover any reel he appears on, and as a wild he steps in for pay symbols to help complete and/or improve line wins. You can thus get a combination of line wins and scatter prize wins on the same spin.

You trigger the Bonus Round when you land at least 4 egg scatters in view, and this gives you 10 free spins. The Wild will collect egg scatter prizes in the bonus round as well, and egg scatters can increase the global win multiplier. The multiplier will boost the total win from each spin, and this includes both egg prizes and line wins.

There is no way to retrigger the bonus round or get extra free spins, but the feature does come with one special symbol not found in the base game. This is the so-called Bonus Win symbol. This symbol lands with a cash prize value that’s equal to the sum total of the triggering egg scatters, and it’s collected as a prize if/when it appears.

The Bonus Buy feature is available in some jurisdictions. You get 4 options if the menu is available, and you can pay 100x your stake for 10 free spins, 200x your stake for 10 free spins with a guaranteed Bonus Win symbol, or 500x your stake for both a guaranteed Bonus Win symbol and the expanding wild on every spin. In addition, you can pay 150x your stake to get one of the features randomly chosen.

Review Summary

We had a hard time deciding whether this game annoyed us more than it entertained us, as there was something a bit off with the pace at times. The character popping up with his tongue out became a nuisance after a while as well, but perhaps players shouldn’t read too much into this. Many might simply see it as a charming farm animal slot with some pretty decent features going for it. You get picky when you test hundreds of slots every month, and this is a pretty solid installment if you don’t get too hung up on certain details (like we did).

You get the expanding wild on a fairly regular basis in the base game, and this can lead to decent total wins consisting of both egg scatter cash prizes and regular line wins. Everything is taken up a notch, or should we say indefinite notches, as the multiplier keeps increasing in the bonus round. The Bonus Win symbol can be helpful as well, of course, and you can win up to a decent 10,000x your stake at best. Players looking for some good ole’ countryside fun will probably get what they want in this game.
