We often get to see unoriginal slots, but Goddess of Egypt probably holds the first place in this regard. With a common theme of Ancient Egypt and gameplay very similar to a well known slot, it delivers a pretty much rudimentary gaming experience.

Despite the studio hasn’t exactly gone to town with the theme, we should still give credit to the design team since the game at least looks nice. We can’t tell for sure how many times we’ve been to Egypt in the slots world though, so don’t expect any surprises here. The backdrop showcases typical marble Egyptian structures and the reels display familiar symbols, yet the detailed graphics make the slot quite pleasing to the eye. Accompanying the actions of the Goddess of Egypt slot is a standard Egyptian soundtrack, though, it fits the gameplay perfectly so there’s nothing to complain about.

Review Summary

Well, yeah, the multipliers are bigger and there’s also an additional multiplier in the free games, but what’s the point of switching to Goddess of Egypt from the original when the potential isn’t anywhere even close to the numbers? That’s definitely a question all game providers should ask themselves before producing countless identical slots in the genre. With that said, the Goddess of Egypt slot isn’t probably worth taking your time.
