Go For Champion Game Review
Go For Champion is an online scratch card launched in the last days of 2024. It seems inspired by cycling tours. This instant-win game provides a mixture of classic and bonus gameplay, and it could be the perfect choice for fans of the genre!
Go For Champion comes with 10 Lucky Numbers placed on top of the ticket and 48 Tour Numbers with 3 bonus sections beneath them. If one or more of your lucky numbers match tour numbers, you'll win the cash prizes displayed below them. You can win multiple rewards within a single scratch card.
Go For Champion is packed with Autoplay, providing several variants for adjusting auto rounds and secondary settings. The control area beneath the active zone includes a bet modifier, a Scratch All tab, and the Autoplay. If you select Scratch All, the entire ticket will be instantly cleared. The other option is to hold the cursor and use the visualized Coin to scratch off the ticket's areas.
Go For Champion is loaded with 4 possible regular rewards - x1, x2, x5, and x10. These are bet multipliers and are randomly placed below each Tour Number. The ticket also has Bonus Multiplier and Hot Spots features, which I'll explain later in this review. Sadly, the Go For Champion RTP rate is unknown!
That is one of the major weaknesses, and I continue to wonder how that is possible, given the fact the provider is audited by independent agencies. Still, information about the payout rate is not available on the website or in the game's main menu.
Our deep web research showed that Go For Champion is characterized by low to medium levels of volatility. The max win, according to the scratch ticket's logo and demo version, is a juicy 10,000x the bet, or up to €100,000. Bets vary from one platform to another and start from €0.10 - €10 up to €100 per scratch.
Here comes another controversy that makes me wonder whether the game is fair or not. If you access the main menu and scroll down almost to the bottom of the Rules, you will see that the maximum payout multiplier is 300,400x and the win cap is €30,040,000. That, of course, is with stakes between €10 and €100.
Go For Champion Features
Unlike many other scratch cards out there, Go For Champion comes with not one but two bonus features. They are not very well explained by the provider, but I did my best to experience and understand them myself. Keep in mind that both are relatively rare, so they don't have to be the base of your playing strategy!
Bonus Multiplier
The BONUS area just beneath the Tour Numbers will reveal a win multiplier of x1, x2, x5, or x10. If there are any cash wins from the respective round, they will be increased by the revealed value. Unfortunately, the bonus multiplier is not applicable to any Hot Spots wins.
Hot Spots
SPOT 1 and SPOT 2 are the Hot Spots areas, and they will always reveal a symbol and a cash prize beneath it. Coins and Diamond Rings are included for aesthetic purposes only, and you will need a Car or Bicycle. Lucky players who reveal one or two of these special symbols will win juicy prizes of 100x the bet each or even more.
Theme & Graphics
Go For Champion comes with a nice design displaying a couple of cyclists with tour jerseys on the road surrounded by trees, mountains, and a bright, blue sky. The Sports theme fits the game category perfectly, and players will appreciate the light, relaxing audio and scratch effects when revealing the ticket manually.
Overall, audio and visual effects are within my expectations, given the genre. Go For Champion is a mobile-friendly virtual scratchcard, and it can be played on desktop PCs or Android and iOS devices. If you wish to do that, I recommend the Chrome browser and portrait mode for optimal performance.
Pros And Cons Of Go For Champion Slot
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Nicely designed online scratch card | RTP is not shared by the provider |
| High roller betting range | Controversies with the max win and exposure |
| Low to medium levels of volatility | Low rollers will most probably avoid this game |
| Individual cash prizes of up to 10x | |
| Win multiplier of x1, x2, x5, or x10 | |
| Hot Spots potentially pay huge rewards | |
| Win up to 10,000x the total bet |
Our Verdict
Surprisingly, virtual scratch cards have a massive fanbase, especially given the fact that the first ones had relatively low RTP rates. However, the cheap prices and the excitement of multiple, although small, rewards drive players ahead.
Therefore, Go For Champion has my sympathy despite the unknown RTP rate.
Overall, Go For Champion won't be a match for every scratch-card enthusiast because of its theme and bet levels. To compensate for some of its flaws, Jili Games has added two bonus features with decent potential. Still, the lack of technical payout information is a pity, and hopefully, the provider will soon change its strategy!
