The concept behind games like Jammin’ Jars might seem unusual, but their popularity speaks for itself. The original achieved cult status, and the previous sequel, Jammin’ Jars 2, remains popular. Giga Jar Cluster Link offers a less intense experience, which some players might appreciate. It shares the same 20,000x potential as the original.

This game doesn't have a bonus round; therefore, your primary objective is to achieve numerous consecutive cascading cluster wins. This is how you activate the roaming Wild Jars, which come with increasing multipliers. If you activate all 3, you can also obtain a static 2x2 Giga Jar with a multiplier that can reach x50. We enjoyed our time testing Giga Jar Cluster Link, and it seems to be another great addition.

Giga Jar Cluster Link Slot Features

The game features 6 fruit symbols with values ranging from 0.1 to 1 x your stake for a minimum cluster of 5. Landing a cluster of 16+ matching symbols awards between 10 and 500 x your stake. The Instant Prize symbol pays between 1 and 1,000 x your stake per symbol, but it must be part of a winning cluster to pay.

All winning symbols are removed from the grid, and each removed cluster increases the Jar Meter on the left by +1. The Jar Meter triggers different features, including Wild Jars activation, Giga Jar activation, and Giga Jar multiplier upgrades.

The Snowball Feature may trigger at the end of a round with at least 2 cascades. This feature adds 1 or 2 Giant symbols to the grid in sizes 2x2, 3x3, or 4x4. These giant symbols can be regular pay symbols or Instant Prize symbols. The giant symbols break down into 1x1 symbols when part of a win.

The Ice Breaker Feature triggers randomly and removes 1 to 3 types of pay symbols from the grid. It can also activate after a cascading sequence consisting of at least 2 consecutive cascades.

The Wild Jar substitutes for pay symbols to help create or improve wins. The first Wild Jar activation happens after 3 consecutive cascades, adding a Wild Jar to a random position. It then moves to random positions with each win it participates in.

The second Wild Jar appears after 3 more consecutive cascades, and the third Wild Jar requires 3 more. Each Wild Jar multiplier begins at x1 and increases by +1 with each win it's involved in, also boosting the win by the achieved multiplier.

You get the Giga Jar when all 3 Wild Jar symbols are active simultaneously, and you land 3 consecutive cascades. The Giga Jar becomes sticky upon landing and does not jump around like the Wild Jars. It's a 2x2 symbol and counts as 4 regular 1x1 wilds.

The Giga Jar multiplier starts at x1 and deactivates after 3 cascades. It reactivates with 3 more cascades, and each reactivation upgrades its multiplier. The Giga Jar multiplier caps at x50, and everything resets after a non-winning spin.

Giga Jar Cluster Link is a fun follow-up. The good thing is that it’s less volatile and demanding than Jammin’ Jars 2, but the 20,000x potential is less than the predecessor. The fruity disco vibe remains, and you get many cascades.

There's no bonus round, so the entire game focuses on achieving as many consecutive cascades as possible. This triggers the roaming progressive multiplier Wild Jars and eventually the Giga Jar. The Snowball and Ice Breaker features can assist, and reaching the Giga Jar didn't seem very difficult. The high RTP is good, but adjustable RTP ranges exist. Overall, it is a solid entry in the series.
