Few can claim to be more iconic and influential than the legendary 90s group N.W.A. Eventually consisting of Arabian Prince, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Ice Cube, DJ Yella, and MC Ren, the group sold more than 10 million albums despite being banned from many mainstream radio stations across the US. This game picks a rough bunch to mess with, but hopefully whomever of them that are still alive and kicking will appreciate the humor in Geese With Attitude (or G.W.A., if you wish).

If the nephews of one Donald Duck came of age in the 90s they may have looked something like this, but Geese With Attitude is not really as “in your face” as some visually similar installments. The base game is pretty barebones, but you get to choose between 2 unique bonus rounds on a somewhat regular basis. The jackpot level up feature is the most interesting choice in our view, and you can land Epic Strike jackpots up to 10,000x as well.

The 3 premium character geese symbols pay between 2.5 and 7.5 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and the emoji Wild symbol steps in for pay symbols to help complete wins. The wild is also the highest paying symbol in the game, awarding up to 12.5x your stake for 5 wilds on the same payline.

You need spray can scatter symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4 to trigger the Bonus Round choice screen, and this also pays 1x your stake up front.

The Notorious W.I.L.D Bonus Round comes with 6 free spins, and all wilds that appear will expand to cover the full reel. You can land retrigger symbols as well, and you need 3 in view on reels 2, 3, and 4 to win +1 extra spin.

The Dice Roller Bonus Round comes with 3 free spins for starters, and you’ll collect dice symbols to level up the feature. Each level has a corresponding jackpot that starts at x1, and the dice meter resets for each level up. Each level up also resets the spin tally to 3 each time, and here is an overview of how it works:

• Level 1 - the jackpot increases to 5x the stake when you collect 5 dice.

You get a Booster Point per 5 dice you collect, but this only happens after level 1 has been completed. The booster point gives you up to 10 extra dice, up to 3 extra spins, or a so-called safe zone. The Safe Zone means that your current achieved jackpot is increased to somewhere above the current level, and below the next level. You win the current jackpot, or safe zone jackpot, when the feature ends. This happens when you run out of spins or hit the max jackpot.

You can also land Epic Strike jackpots in this game, and these are won via the G.W.A vinyl symbol in both the base game and during the Notorious W.I.L.D Bonus Round. You need between 3 and 11 epic strike symbols in view to win the corresponding prize, and 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11 epic strike symbols anywhere in view pays 1x, 5x, 15x, 40x, 100x, 500x, 1,000x, 5,000x, or 10,000x your stake, respectively.

Review Summary

There’s no denying that Geese With Attitude is built around a somewhat hilarious parody on the gangsta rap scene, but underneath said attitude it doesn’t bring anything new or innovative to the table. It pays homage to the legendary N.W.A. in a fun way though, and the comic book graffiti visual presentation sticks out from most other games out there. You could say it’s trying a bit too hard to be funny perhaps, but going a bit overboard with it is also what having an “attitude” is all about.

Anyway, the gameplay itself isn’t all that exciting once the novelty wears off, but Geese With Attitude is blinged up with a decent set of features nonetheless. Epic Strike jackpots up to 10,000x is well above what many popular installments in the instant jackpot genre offers, and it’s kind of fun to build jackpots in the Dice Rolling feature. The expanding wild bonus round wasn’t as exciting perhaps, but it can still lead to decent payouts. The overall 10,000x potential is solid as well, but Geese With Attitude will probably not be everyone’s cup of tea.
