Fruit Blaster Review
This company may be small and doesn’t seem to be particularly ambitious, but it does have a lot of online games. We therefore simply had to take a closer look at Fruit Blaster, as it’s supposed to be fairly complex and full of interesting gameplay features. Before we get to those, however, we have to run you through some basic details. For starters, the playing field of Fruit Blaster has 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 paylines that pay not only from left to right, but also from right to left and in the middle.
Unfortunately, there’s also one big minus that the game will hit you with right from the start. We are talking about its audiovisual presentation, which is so below average that we don’t even know what to say about it. Fruit slots can look really good, you see, but this one is actually quite painful to look at!
Additionally, we also don’t have much to say about the game’s mathematical model. That’s because this company is one of the least transparent companies out there when it comes to sharing these kinds of details.
Fruit Blaster Slot Features
The paytable of Fruit Blaster offers a set of 7 pay symbols. There are 6 fruit symbols with cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, grapes and melons. These pay up to 10x your bet for a full combination, but there are also sevens, which are the game’s top-paying symbols, and which pay 15x your bet for a full set.
As for specials, you can look forward to Wilds and Star Scatters. Wilds show the game’s logo, and they can substitute for any of the pay symbols in winning combinations. On top of that, they work as Multiplier Wilds, with each Wild adding a 2x win multiplier to the equation.
The gameplay loop uses the Cascading Wins feature, which means that you can get several wins during a single spin. All winning combinations are automatically removed and replaced with new symbols, which allows new wins to come into play. As always, this continues for as long as you keep getting new combos.
Aside from that, there’s the Mystery Win feature, which you can trigger by landing 3 or more Star Scatters in view. This feature is all about clicking on the triggering Star Scatters and revealing cash prizes, the top of which is worth 25x your bet.
Review Summary
At the end of the day, Fruit Blaster is a fine slot in terms of gameplay, but a poor game in all the other regards. Its audiovisuals are simply poor, and the fact that we don’t know anything about its math model can’t really please us either. Our recommendation? Feel free to stay away from this release!
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Cascading Wins with lots of ways to win | Poor audiovisual presentation |
| Multiplier Wilds | Unknown math model |
| Mystery Win feature | Very uneven experience that’s not worth the bother |
