We haven’t seen too many junk food slots until now, and Fred’s Food Truck is a fairly typical installment in the fast food genre. The food truck itself is painted with what looks like different symbols from previous games, and bulldog jaw Fred stands there in front of the truck with sausages in his pocket, looking kind of resigned and puzzled most of the time. He comes alive once in a while when something happens, but we’ve seen more charming characters in this genre.
The food symbols look kind of fake, and not really tasty at all to be honest, and the game revolves around a Green Chilli Multiplier upgrade system. There are 3 tiers to the chilli symbols, and they can add up to +100 to the Global Win Multiplier. The multiplier never resets for as long as the bonus round lasts and you can win up to 10,000x your stake. Fred’s Food Truck is a decent junk food installment, but the game developer hasn’t really poured their heart and soul into this game.

The premium symbols pay between 10 and 20 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and they consist of drumsticks, hot dogs, tacos, pizza slices, and a hamburger. The Small Menu Bonus Round triggers from 3 FS symbols in view, while the Big Menu Bonus Round requires 4 triggering FS symbols. You get 10 or 15 free spins from these features, respectively, and the multiplier only keeps building without resetting as new green chilli symbols upgrade it during the bonus round.

Review Summary
It’s safe to say that Fred’s Food Truck is hardly at its very best, and this comes across as a somewhat hastily put together release that’s designed to appeal to a certain fast-food loving crowd. We have seen greasier fast food slots for sure, and the symbols come across as plastic representations of the food items, rather than the real deal. Fred himself looks like a typical junk food seller, and he doesn’t really make all that much of himself most of the time.
He comes to live when you win, and especially in the bonus round, and the multiplier upgrade system is typical for this developer. It can still lead to solid payouts in all stages of the game, however, and more likely so when the global win multiplier only keeps building in either of the bonus rounds. The 10,000x potential supposedly comes with a 1 in 10B spins hit rate, although this could be a typo from the developer, but larger wins are possible from the multiplier system either way.
