We have seen similar games before, as some are built around the same core concept. The math models are similar as well, but Eggz! Power Combo comes with a more fun and lighthearted prehistoric visual presentation than its two predecessors. If you liked the previous games you will probably also enjoy what’s going on in this third installment, as nothing much has changed.

The Power Combo system is going strong once again, allowing you to combine 3 different bonus rounds in all conceivable ways. This is done by collecting egg scatters, and many times you will get a single bonus round when one of the eggs crack. Combos happen on a regular basis though, but getting all 3 is not something you can expect too often unless you can and are willing to pay for the bonus buy feature. The 11,500x potential hasn’t changed much either, and players who like to mix things up will probably enjoy having another go at it.

Eggz! Power Combo Slot Features

The premium symbols pay between 2.5 and 5 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and you can land Wild symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4 only. The wilds step in for any pay symbol to help complete and/or improve line wins, and wilds hold no value of their own in this game.

There are 3 different Egg Scatter symbols in this game, and they come in the colors pink, green, and light blue. The egg scatters are collected in the egg meter seen below the jackpot prizes on the left-hand side, and the bonus round may trigger at any time when a scatter egg is collected. It can trigger from a single egg, or a mix of eggs, and each egg represents a unique bonus round feature.

Review Summary

We have to say that we enjoyed this Flintstones-inspired theme far more than the seriousness you get in the 2 predecessors. The atmosphere is more fun, but underneath it all lies the same math model and the same set of features. You will basically grind along in the base game, collecting eggs until either of the bonus rounds trigger. If you’re lucky, you get to combine forces if more than one egg cracks at the same time.

On rare occasions you will crack all 3 eggs open at the same time, which gives you a potentially highly lucrative bonus round. There’s no denying that this game is fun when it fires on all cylinders, but it doesn’t happen all that often. The single bonus rounds are almost anti-climactic in comparison, and the bonus buy price tells you all you need to know about the average payout. The overall 11,500x potential is solid enough, but you will probably need the 10,000x jackpot to close in on it.
