This game centers around mythological creatures. You’ll meet dragons of different colors and kinds, and the 5x3 grid is set against a backdrop that resembles the inside of a volcano. A hooded fellow is holding up the sign displaying the Dragon Prizes.

These can be won in all stages, and the Mega Prize is worth 10,000x your stake. This also happens to be the game’s win cap, and you get regular and dropping wilds that can be upgraded by random multipliers. All wilds become sticky in the bonus round, however, and they can still be upgraded with multipliers up to x5.

Dragon's Keep Slot Features

The premium dragon symbols come with different colors, and they are 1x2 in size when fully in view. The dragons pay between 2 and 20 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and you can also land Golden Dragon symbols on reels 1 and 5. The Diamond Wild comes in 2 different forms, but they both substitute for pay symbols to help complete wins as their core function.

Random multiplier values (x2 to x5) can appear above reels 2, 3, and 4, and these multiplier values are then attached to any wild symbol on the reel below. You can also land framed Traveling Wilds, and these drop one position downwards per spin. The multiplier of traveling wilds increases per drop, and it can go as high as x8 before the symbol drops off the grid.

The Golden Dragon Prizes Feature triggers when you land the golden dragon symbol on both reel 1 and reel 5 at the same time, but not fully in view. You will then spin a wheel of fortune, and it will award 1 of 4 prizes. These are the Mini, Minor, Major, or Mega prizes, and they pay 10x, 50x, 1,000x, or 10,000x your stake, respectively. You can also retrigger the feature.

If you land a fully stacked Dragon Wild on reels 1 and 5 at the same time, you trigger the Bonus Round. This gives you 10 free spins, and the random multipliers are always active above all 3 of the middle reels during the feature. Wilds can appear on the 3 middle reels only, and they become sticky wilds. The dragon can upgrade random wilds with a multiplier up to x5.

Review Summary

The dramatic soundtrack is enjoyable, and the visuals are decent as well. You get random multiplier wilds in the base game, and sometimes the traveling wild that moves one position down per spin as its multiplier keeps increasing. Both are tried and tested features that can be effective on occasions, and they keep the base game somewhat interesting.

You will also trigger the Dragon Prize feature on a semi-regular basis, and the 10,000x top prize is enough to raise your pulse a little when it happens. The bonus round basically enhances everything, as you get more wilds and multiplier wilds on the 3 middle reels, at least if things go your way. Up to 500x your stake is the single spin max win without any multiplier action, so decent payouts can certainly come when multipliers are involved.
