There’s only one special symbol in Crystal Furnace and it comes in the form of Hammer Wilds. These symbols can appear only on the middle three reels, but they substitute for other symbols and even trigger the slot’s only gameplay feature!
If you find one or more Hammer Wilds on the playing board, you’ll trigger the Expanding Wild Re-spin Feature. When that happens, all Hammer Wilds will expand to cover an entire reel and the reels with them will be locked in place for a free respin. Well, what can we say about Crystal Furnace? It looks good and it plays well, but there’s only one gameplay feature in the mix, which is hardly exciting in this day and age. It’s actually a bit disappointing, as a slot that looks this good deserves a bit more in our opinion. We have no issues recommending it, but there’s some serious unused potential in this one!
