The game starts with a peculiar intro. The horse speeds through the desert until lightning strikes. This release is a follow-up to a previous supernatural North American animal slot, and this time it’s centered around horses instead of buffaloes. The horse is the central figure in this game.

The supernatural element is present but not as prominent as in the predecessor. You get extra horse symbols regularly in the base game, plus the Rapid Re-Spins feature that expands the grid. The latter doesn’t trigger too often, but it's more frequent in the Super Horse Bonus Round. The 25,000x potential is the same, and the game mechanics are similar.

The premium animal symbols pay between 2 and 6 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins in the base game. There is a Super Horse top-tier symbol worth 12x your stake for 5 of a kind in the bonus round, and the regular Horse is the top-tier symbol in the base game. The Wild symbol appears on the 3 middle reels and substitutes for pay symbols.

The Horse Strike feature triggers randomly in the base game, and increases the number of Horse symbols on the reel strips for the current spin.

The Rapid Re-Spin feature triggers when a horseshoe lands on the middle reel. The reels expand by one extra position for the respin, increasing the number of win ways.

You can retrigger the Rapid Re-spins feature 2 times, giving you +3 extra rows. The maxed out grid of 6-7-7-7-6 comes with 12,348 ways to win, and you cannot trigger the bonus round during Rapid Re-spins. Your Horse Strike chances are increased though, and everything resets when the feature ends.

The Super Horse Spins bonus round triggers when you land 3 scatters on reels 2, 3, and 4, giving you 10 free spins. The regular Horse symbol is replaced by the Super Horse symbol for the duration of the feature, and it pays twice as much. You cannot trigger the Horse Strike feature, but Horseshoe symbols will award respins that expand the grid by +1 row up to 6-7-7-7-6, at best.

The Horseshoe symbol disappears once you have maxed out the grid, and the grid never resets during the bonus round. You can retrigger the feature by landing 3 scatters in view, awarding +10 extra spins. You can get up to 100 free spins in total, and the grid resets once you return to the base game.

Colt Lightning looks like a typical North American prairie animal slot initially, but the supernatural element soon reveals itself. It shines through the eyes of some of the animals on the grid. You get plenty of Horse Strike triggers in the base game, and the Rapid Re-spins feature triggers somewhat regularly.

The Super Horse bonus round is about expanding the grid, and Rapid Re-spins trigger more frequently. The Super Horse symbol doubles in value, helping you get closer to the 25,000x potential. It has a low hit rate, but larger wins are possible.
