Every time a bottle washes up in the base game, the bonus round is triggered. The bottle reveals an X on the letter inside, and the X symbol becomes a sticky wild. Something unique does not always equate to good. Coco Tiki is the perfect example of that unfortunately, and several things annoyed us during testing. The cheap sounding background music is one thing, but then there is a very unnecessary break in the gameplay, where you’re forced to listen to the Tiki-masked dude slurping his cocktail, and it happens way too often.
The whole thing about waves washing over the symbols to bring in new symbols also gets boring pretty quickly. The 600x potential will impress no one, and the features lack punch and excitement. Casual players dreaming of a simple life on a tropical island might enjoy this game for a while, but no experienced gamblers will touch Coco Tiki with a barge-pole.
