It’s always fun with lots of variety in a game, and 180 bonus round combinations sounds like a lot. However, it’s really the Character modifiers that make the biggest difference here, and there are “only” 6 of these. You will always want the highest number of spins and the largest possible multiplier, so this is really a given. Still, casual players will find some decent entertainment here, at least until you’ve seen what all 6 of the characters have to offer.

You will find a standard wild symbol in this game, and it can land on all reels both in the base game and during the bonus round. It’s hard to miss since it spells “wild” with big golden types, and it will step in for all regular symbols, as wilds usually do.
The big attraction of this game however, is the 180 different bonus round combinations you can trigger. You will find 17 different scatter symbols here, and these come in 3 distinct categories. You need to land 3 scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 to trigger the bonus round, and each reel will only land scatters from a specific category.

Cluedo Cash Mystery is a decent enough follow-up title to the previous game, but the 2 games are not all that similar. The predecessor title had many different bonus features, while this game is focused solely on the all-important bonus round. The 6 different Character modifiers offer somewhat varied gameplay, and we like how they’ve “snuck in” the Book slot mechanic as one of the modifiers.
The biggest wins are bound to come from the wild multiplier modifier however, and the 3,750x potential is decent for a medium volatile game like this. Overall, we like this follow-up title better than the first version, but the base game becomes tedious pretty soon. Luckly, you will get the bonus round relatively often here, or around every 126 spins on average to be precise.
