When it comes to the visuals, the game doesn’t differ much, though, the graphics are nice. The reels are set against a scenery, showcasing green plains and blue sky, while the reels are surrounded with architecture and trees. Same to the overall look, a centurion remained unchanged. Most of the time he’s hiding, though, at times he’ll randomly jump out to announce wins or activated features.
The symbols at most remained the same too, though, given a touch of styling. We get familiar symbols on the lower side, while premiums include helmets, coins, crossed swords, the Colosseum, chariots and the logo symbol. The actions take place across 6 reel layout, with rows number varying from 2 to 7. There’s also an Extra Reel which is made up from 4 symbol positions on top of the main grid. True to style, the number of symbols to appear on the layout is randomly determined at the beginning of each spin, and so the number of ways to play, which vary from 324 to 117,649. The gameplay features a wide variety of interesting features. The first one to mention is the Cascading Wins feature. Whenever you score a win, the winning symbols are removed from the grid to allow new ones to appear. The feature works perfectly paired with the mechanic, since it allow to launch a chain of consecutive wins almost every spin.
There’s also a Wild symbol, which is represented by a golden wreath with a Wild logo. It can appear both during base and bonus games, however, only on an Extra Reel. The 200 Spins experience in Centurion Megaways
A new Rome-themed game with feature set seemed a breath of fresh air, though, our 200 spins adventure revealed the essential nature of Centurion Megaways. Long story short, brutal, but generous game, where you have to manifest patience to make a profit, though, remember, that every session is unique and the outcome is never the same.
With a great level of enthusiasm, we set autoplay to 100 spins and pressed the ’spin’ button, with crossed fingers and hope for decent wins, or at least some fun though. The frustration overtook us quite fast not so long after a couple of reel modifiers didn’t manage to turn the dead spins into winning ones and amounted to anything actually. Nevertheless, after somewhat 40 spins the fortune smiled on us and we got some 10x wins thanks to the same reel modifiers. However, one thing became certain, even though the volatility level is set to medium, Centurion Megaways still felt brutal at times and we even had a streak of 11 unsuccessful spins in a row. As for the first 100 spins, we lost approx 10 bucks, though, we didn’t lose our temper and still had been determined towards the epic wins.
The second 100 spins started on a good note as the bonus wheel was triggered almost immediately.
