Sometimes developers improve their games, and releasing a Deluxe version is common. Celtic Spirit Deluxe offers real improvements. Visually, the games are similar, but the Deluxe version has a more modern appearance.
The features are the same as in the original game, but the Deluxe version offers a beefed up potential. It’s hard to justify playing the old game when this new version offers such an improved math model. If you like Irish druid mystery slots, this game offers a beautiful countryside backdrop.
Celtic Spirit Deluxe Features
There are not many features, and the main one is the bonus round. We’ll start with the base game, and here you will benefit from a regular wild symbol, which will substitute for all regular symbols in the game to help you form winning combos.
On top of the middle reel you’ll see the portrait of the celtic lady. This is a Mini Reel that will become active at random times. You will then see the Mini Reel spin sideways, and you will be awarded with either between 3 to 9 wilds, or a multiplier boost between 2x to 5x.
The celtic lady is also the bonus symbol. You trigger the free spins bonus round by landing a bonus symbol on reels 1, 3 and 5 on the same spin. This gives you a small initial scatter win, before you’re awarded with 6 free spins. Before the spins play out however, you will get a sticky wild on the middle position on the middle reel.
This wild remains in place for the duration of the bonus round. If the Mini Reel lands on a wild symbol, it will become sticky adjacent to the middle reel wild. The Mini Reel triggers randomly during the free spins also, but more frequently than in the base game. You can also get 1, 2 or 3 extra spins from the Mini Reel, and these are added to your tally.

Review Summary
Celtic Spirit Deluxe is a brushed up version of the original game, but it plays out pretty much the same. The Mini Reel multiplier has an upper limit of 5x in this Deluxe version also. However, the math model has been improved with a 1 % higher RTP and a 2,000x max win potential.
Sadly, the bonus round does not come with any multipliers on the Mini Reel, only wilds and extra spins. This means that you can win up to 400x on any given free spin, if you manage to fill the screen with the game logo symbol and/or wilds. A somewhat unusual delegation of potential, but okay. Visually, the game looks a bit better also, and fans of the original slot might appreciate the Deluxe version.
