The jolly Goblin returns in the new Cave of Gold slot, which follows the footsteps of the success of an older release. It's not essentially a new game though since it sports a similar theme and gameplay with really little innovation. The green potion symbols are Nitro symbols, which contribute to the respective meter above the reels whenever they appear in view. There are single, double, and triple Nitro symbols, which fill the counters by 1, 2, or 3 points respectively. When a counter reaches 3, the reel below turns into Persistent Wild for the next 3 spins.
However, it's possible to prolong the feature - when a new Persistent Wild is triggered, the spin counter on all other Persistent Wilds is reset back to 3. When there are 2, 3, or 4 Wild reels, an incremental Multiplier of 2x, 3x, or 4x will be offered. Should you turn all five reels into Wilds, a prize of 200x the stake will be awarded, after which all Persistent Wilds will disappear. The treasure chest symbol is Scatter, and when 3, 4, or 5 instances land simultaneously in view during the base game, players are awarded 15, 20, or 25 Free Spins respectively.
