It’s quite refreshing to not have to take yet another long walk in the desert, and visually the vikings theme is pretty well done in Book of Vikings. You will see some nice animations when the bonus round starts, and the soundtrack is more than epic enough to fit the bill. It doesn’t bring anything new to the table, but the math model is compelling.
Everything plays out on the standard 5 reels, 3 rows and 10 win ways, and you can place bets between 10p and £100 per spin. The lack of any kind of twist to the tale is a bit disappointing in our view, but it’s forgivable due to the generous RTP. We doubt it’s enough to be a huge success however, but it’s an interesting alternative for sure.
Book of Vikings slot Features
Like you would expect, the book symbol plays a very central part in this game. The book serves double duty as both the game’s wild and scatter. This means that it can step in for all regular symbols to help you form winning combinations, and landing at least 3 book scatters anywhere triggers the bonus round.

For those familiar with the book of series, and who isn’t these days, there is nothing new to see here except for the vikings theme. The potential is a tad higher than usual, clocking in at 5,500x your stake, and the RTP of 96.5 % is also a bit more generous than in the original Book of Dead. A slightly improved math model is what you get here in other words, and combined with a nicely done vikings theme that might be enough to convert some players.
