It seems someone first planned to release this as a regular installment in their ongoing range, but then decided to make it their Christmas contribution instead. A wise choice in our opinion, as Bigger Bass Blizzard - Christmas Catch is pretty similar to the original Bigger Bass Bonanza. The top-tier RTP, as well as the rest of the RTP settings, are lower though, so unless you love ice fishing the more tropical original is a better choice.
The Xmas theme was more elaborate in last year’s Christmas Big Bass Bonanza, but you get a higher 4,000x potential in this game. We like how you can collect all the cash prizes by landing 5-oak in the base game, but it doesn’t happen very often. The multiplier trail bonus round is the main attraction, as usual, but the big bass series is starting to saturate the whole genre to the point where we’ve gotten a little bit fed up.
