You will get no help from any wild symbols in this game, but the Ancient Supremacy feature can trigger at any time. You will then see all low-value royal symbols destroyed and removed from the reels. The Cascading Reels feature then brings in a fresh batch of only premium symbols to fill the gaps. This can prolong your winning streak, and the Cascading Wins go on as long as you keep landing new winning combos.
Whenever you win with premium symbols you trigger the Locked Ancients feature. The winning symbols become sticky for the next paid spin (you don’t get a free respin, in other words), and the feature continues if you improve upon the winning combo or form a new one. The visual presentation is well done. However, they also usually come up with offbeat math models, and max win potentials that don’t quite fit the bill. Combined with highly volatile gameplay, we expect a bigger carrot than 2,175x, simple as that. Not least since you have to pay for each spin in what amounts to the game’s “bonus round”.
Locking in premium winning symbols while building up a progressive multiplier can be a thrill ride for sure, but most of the time you don’t get very far. With no real bonus round to look forward to, it’s hard to keep motivation up for a longer session. It doesn’t help that the highest default RTP of 95.72 % is still below average, and that you have to spend time looking for it.
