The Rolling Reels feature removes winning symbols from the grid, and the gaps are filled by new or existing symbols dropping down from above. This process continues as long as you keep landing new winning combos, and it gives you the possibility for indefinite repeat wins per paid spin.
You can land trident wild symbols on the top horizontal reel only, and these will step in for all regular pay symbols to help you form winning combos. Ancient Fortunes: Poseidon Megaways is therefore very much a tedious grind most of the time.
When the bonus round finally triggers, it can take you for the standard progressive multiplier “thrill ride”, but there’s nothing new or exciting to see here. The fixed jackpots are an okay side-kick, but hardly enough to convince savvy punters. With so many better alternatives out there, the only reason to pick this one would be the lower-than-usual volatility.
