This game mixes the Aztec ruins theme with some rather cute animal characters, and it sets the game apart from similar releases, at least to a certain degree.
The base game offers nothing out of the ordinary for this engine, and you’ll have to make do with dynamic reels, cascading wins and wild symbols. The bonus round sticks out somewhat, and it will keep you guessing as you never quite know how long it will last. The progressive win multiplier can deliver solid payouts up to 10,918x your stake in the feature, but we’re unsure if there is enough innovation here to keep players interested in the longer run.
Amazon Island Megaways Features
The golden monkey with blue jewel eyes is the wild symbol in this game, and it steps in for all regular pay symbols like wilds usually do. The wild does not hold any value of its own, and the premium symbols pay between 2 and 50 times your stake for 6 on a payline.
All wins trigger the Cascading Reels feature, which removes the winning symbols from the grid. New and/or existing symbols will then cascade down to fill the gaps, and the process repeats as long as you keep winning.
You trigger the Bonus Round when you land 3 or 4 treasure chest scatters anywhere on the same spin. The big Jungle Wheel will spin up front to determine your minimum number of Megaways. This can be anything from 1,000 to 25,000 win ways, and this lower limit remains active throughout the free spins feature.
You start with 3 free spins no matter what, but the tally resets to 3 again for each winning spin. The progressive win multiplier starts at x1 if you triggered the bonus round with 3 scatters, and x5 if you triggered the feature with 4 scatters. Either way, it will increase by +1 per cascading win with no upper limit.

The base game offers nothing but reaction wins, dynamic reels and wilds, and it could perhaps have done with a modifier or two to keep things a bit more interesting.
Getting a solid minimum number of Megaways in the bonus round can add some extra tension to your spins, and the fact that you get only 3 free spins (that reset per win) will keep you on your toes for sure. You will usually get a decent amount of cascades to prolong the feature and increase the win multiplier.
