Alchemist Stone focuses on Respins, but the way you trigger them is different. Whenever a winning combination lands, a token may be added to the winning symbol on the leftmost reel to award a Respin. The rightmost reel will merge with the adjacent one to become a massive 2x3 reel. With every consecutive Respin, the reels on the right will gradually merge until forming a single 5x5 reel. The Respins will continue up to the moment when no new winning combos with tokens attached to the first symbol on a payline appear.

Testing the game was a fun experience. It's necessary to mention that we did our test before the actual release, so it's likely that our experience of the demo version may vary from what you could possibly get after Alchemist Stone will be released.

The first thing that really blew us away is that the Respins triggered almost every winning combination we landed. The token seemed to appear approx 8 out of 10 times, though, it rarely took us to 5x5 blocks. However, landing a single win appeared to be a much more challenging task than triggering the Respins feature since the hit rate, even though being claimed to be over 30%, had been literally poor. We really struggled to get returns and were landing series of dead spins one after another. Anyway, a couple of highlights showed up, and the most notable was the 28x win. Not to say that it's a deal-breaking amount worth spinning the slot for 200 times, though, we had some great wins of 15x+ appearing every 30 spins.

Within the 200 spins, the alchemist stone appeared like 5 times, though, neither it managed to stay alive for more than 2 Respins nor brought us any massive payouts. Even though the session ended up with a nonsignificant loss, it was worth the emotions and fun we had throughout it.

Alchemist Stone is a skillful mix of familiar features with the newborn inventions produces unique gameplay.

The maximum potential could be better. All you can hope for is only 1,833 times the stake, which is obviously not what you expect from a high volatile slot to boast. It could have been justified if only the features brought decent wins, though, they do not. It will require quite a lot of spinning here to claim any big prizes, and unlikely a lot of players have such a luxury for sure.
