His name is Blitz, Agent Blitz, and we have no idea if he likes his Martini shaken or stirred, but he sure has a taste for women and cars. The presentation is typical, as is often the case with a casino setting, but the Mission Moneymaker bonus round is unusual.

You can land instant scatter jackpots up to 10,000x your stake in all stages of the game, or at least in the regular sticky wild bonus round. The top prize can be achieved also in the Mission Moneymaker feature, as you collect casino chip symbols to upgrade your jackpot price in a level-up system. We had a decent time testing this game, but it wasn’t memorable.

The premium symbols, pay between 2.5 and 7.5 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins. The Wild symbol comes in the form of a retro playback device, and it can land on all 5 reels to step in for pay symbols to help complete wins. The wild pays 12.5x your stake should you land 5 wilds on a payline.

The Epic Strike feature can “strike” in all stages of the game, and you need at least 3 badge symbols in view to trigger it. You can land scatters on reels 2 to 4, and you need 3 in view to trigger the Bonus Round. This also awards a 1x payout up front, and you get to choose between the Mission Sticky round or the Mission Moneymaker round.

The Mission Sticky feature comes with 6 free spins, and all wilds that appear become frozen in place as sticky wilds for the duration of the bonus round. You can also land a retrigger symbol on reels 2 to 4, and this awards +1 extra spin per symbol that lands.

The Mission Moneymaker feature comes with 3 initial spins, and you start at the 1x your stake prize level. You will collect chip symbols when they appear, and this can land you jackpots. The chips collection system is also how you complete levels, and you need a total of 40 chips to reach the top-tier level 8. This level awards the top prize worth 10,000x your stake.

The amount of collected chips is reset for each new level you achieve, and your spin tally is also reset to 3 per level-up. You get to a boost point for every 5 collect chip symbols, but not on the initial starting level. This gives you up to 10 extra chips, up to +3 extra spins, or the safe zone. In the safe zone, you get your current prize win upgraded. You win the jackpot of the current level, or safe zone, when the feature ends.

We decided to go with the Mission Moneymaker round, since it came across as far more unusual than the sticky wild free spins round. The agent theme is slick enough, with action commentary sprinkled in. The Mission Moneymaker feature may sound confusing when you read about it, and even the first time you see it play out. However, it’s all about collecting as many chips as possible, which climbs the jackpot prize ladder. Still, a twist on the usual bonus round concept.

The Mission Sticky feature is far more common, of course, as sticky wilds is a classic. The high-class casino setting is convincing enough, but we still feel that this release lacks soul and depth. You glide across the surface without ever being super engaged, but at least the 10,500x potential is solid. The instant jackpot concept is par for the course, and overall Agent Blitz: Mission Moneymaker is a shelf-filler that will probably soon be forgotten.
