Our Verdict
It seems the series has shifted gears with the release of 12 Pots of Gold Drums. You get to meet a Leprechaun character cheering you up with his antics. He’s gently swaying while smoking whatever is in his pipe.
Something is happening on almost every base game spin in 12 Pots of Gold Drums, whether it's a regular line win, a smaller Epic Strike prize, or the collecting of wilds or free spin scatters. That being said, it’s rare to see any Epic Strike prizes above the bottom 3 levels, which is not uncommon with these types of games. Line wins are seldom all that impressive either. However, seeing that pot of gold grow to the size of the Lepreahcuan and beyond is encouraging, egging you on to see what happens in the Epic Strike Bonus.
I found the soundtrack to be particularly enjoyable in 12 Pots of Gold Drums slot, with its dynamic, folk-inspired tune and lively upbeat vibe. Not quite the Irish luck cliché you may be used to or expect, which adds to the freshness of this game’s presentation.
